This design represents how the combination of regular and irregular elements can achieve an harmonic effect. The lines are perfectly straight but are not parallel and the dots are not perfect circumferences, but oval. What could be thought as impossible happens to work perfectly together when combined. An harmonic contradiction.

Aquest disseny representa com la combinació d’elements regulars i irregulasr poden aconseguir un efecte harmònic. Les línies són perfectament rectes però no són paral•leles i els punts no són circumferències perfectes, sinó ovalades. El que podria semblar imposible d’entrada acaba funcionant perfectament quan es combinen.Una contradicció harmònica.

Elena was born in Barcelona on the 29th November 1984. She is currently attending the Art and Design School Llotja, in Barcelona, specialized in Printing and Dyeing techniques. She works as a freelance graphic designer and creates handmade products, like hand printing on fabric and paper and also bookbinding.

Vaig néixer a Barcelona el 29 de novembre de 1984. Actualment, estic estudiant a l’Escola d’Art i Disseny Llotja de Barcelona. He treballat com a dissenyadora gràfica freelance i ho combino amb la creació de productes artesanals, com estampacions a mà sobre tela i paper i enquadernació artesanal.
